My Baby's Yarzheit

Yesterday was my baby's yarzheit, meaning it was a year ago yesterday that he passed away.  I still miss him as much as ever.  My mom has his ashes in a container in her room and one time she asked me if I wanted to see them and I said no.  It tortures me to think that this once energetic and loving creature has been reduced to dust.

Puppy, I miss you.  Everyone who has ever met you misses you.  I think about you every day-- there's something missing in my life with you gone.  You were/are one of the greatest things in my life, and I want to thank you for making it a little better.  I wouldn't have been able to get through some of the hard times without you.  I love you.

Your puppy was so adorable. I love the pictures. I remember when I got to a year when my old cat Sabby died. I actually just before that found some videos I had taken on my old mobile phone on my computer and I could hear him meow and could see him walking around with me. I just burst into tears becuase I missed him so much. Since I've had Missy, it has helped to heal me over Sabby and although she is not at all like him in personality, I can still read her facial expressions like I could him. It's always hard though. Thinking of you during this hard period.
*hugs*

I am sure that you miss your boy. It is so hard to lose our companions. I totally understand, having lost one of our old dogs last week. I have lost so many over the years, having had my first dog when I was 8 years old.
